Ryanair - 2 booked tickets, only 1 is travelling

Hello. I have booked 2 return ticket with Ryanair for 2 people, and now one of us cant travel. I have tried to find someone to travel with me, and pay the Ryanair namechange fee, i think its 100 euros. But if i dont find anyone, i assume that i simple checkin myself to that flight? That should not cause any problems when…

But if i dont find anyone, i assume that i simple checkin myself to that flight? That should not cause any problems when its just 1 person flying instead of 2?

Have to ask, since Ryanair seems to have "special rules"for almost every situation..:)
