Never really thought of it but now that I am.
http://global.burtsbees.com/natural-products/baby-and-mom-moisturisers/baby-bee-skin-creme.html is fantastic. You only need a bit of it and it is lovely for mammies too. A jar did us a year.
    or E45

I use whatever i use on their bodies, but don't ever use baby wipes on their little faces as they have alcohol in most of them and it dries the face out.

Theres a lovely cream called allergenics cream which has shea butter etc in it and is very moisturising for when going out in the cold weather. You can use it anywhere on the skin, it can also help with irritations and the like! Its available in most pharmacies i think, i use it myself for dermatitis but its suitable for normal skin and from birth.:)

Ive never got cream for my kids faces, i just wrapped them up well and kept them out of bad wind and rain (stormy weather). I used carmex on the lips but other than that they were fine.

I guess nivea would be great as well.
at the moment I use La roche posay balm I use for the whole body, I also use it for myself cos it brings relief to itchy skin and protects my hands from drying after washing so often.

I'd pick something that you'd be happy to use anywhere else on the baby - burts bees stuff is great as mentioned. Also I'd try

    http://www.earthmother.ie/products/Organic-Babies-Mum-%26-Baby-Moisturiser-150ml.html

But wouldn't worry too much about moisturising their face unless it's getting dry/red

I would recommend lavera neutral http://www.breatheonline.ie/lavera-neutral-for-babies-face-cream-x50ml.html
baby&kinder or weleda weather protection creamhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Weleda-Baby-Calendula-Weather-Protection/dp/B001ION8SI

the first is for v.sensitive skin the latter for 'normal'

I would actually worry not to make the skin get red or irritated. Let's remember that their skin is much more delicate than ours... I don't even imagine myself goning out without any cream on my face
