Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Just got this by email

If you get yet another letter from Sterling today please ignore it.
They are saying that Winsover Howden and Tactica have gone into
administration and they are trying to scare customers trying to steal
    the business for themselves.

The facts are that Winsover Howden owned Photo-Shield and the business
of Photo-Shield was transferred/merged with RiskAlliance Insurance
earlier this year together with the other business of Winsover Howden.
After that happened we then put Winsover Howden into voluntary
administration as the company was no longer required.

Tactica was the fronting house for Zurich Bank who are the financers of
the premiums for Photo-Shield. Tactica themselves have gone into
administration although some staff have been retained to see the
business through run-off. All premiums are secure with Zurich Bank and
you should continue to make your monthly payments as normal.

We apologise yet again for the confusion, disruption and scare tactics
that Sterling are trying. We have moved on, they are history, please
ignore any more tricks that they try and pull.

You obviously don't know much about the professional bodies and how much they cost to just "toss away".

Just toss it and look at for reviews of just about every digital camera out there.

Yeah, sure toss away a Nikon D3 or a Canon 1D body if the repair is more than €200.

Someone obviously has no idea why some of us take out professional insurance.

Is he (rick.flair) not just one of those new spam bots? Look at the stuff in his sig.

And on topic, just got a quote to cover my gear that is only slightly lower then what I pay for my full house and contents insurance.

Looks like it to me, especially with his pricing in $ instead of €
