    Boardies,

as promised, we now have the complete new range of Yamaha AV kit available from stock including the new '1000' series - here is a brief overview of the range and pricing..

From the the new RXV367 which retails for just £179.95 right up to the stunning new RXV3067 at £1495.95 the complete AV range really does meet ANY required spec!

    RXV367 - £179.95

Despite the great price of the 367 - this really is quite a full featured Av receiver and most importantly of all it offers HDMI 1.4 compatiability and it's 3D ready - at this price it's our cheapest 3D ready AV receiver!

Coming complete with HDMI 1.4, the Yamaha RXV367 is the ideal AV receiver for a 3D TV future. With four HDMI v1.4 inputs and a monitor output you're all set for linking up either 3D or conventional sources and connecting them through to a 3D or conventional TV.

3D aside, the RXV367 is an enticing AV receiver. Power is up from 105 watts to 120 (4 ohm speakers) and the processing power remains as impressive as ever.

In addition to sounding great, the Yamaha is also easy to use. The SCENE function automatically selects the ideal DSP (Digital Signal Processor) setting to suit the input. Four SCENE selections ensure that you always have the correct setting when watching films or listening to music. In addition to this, YPAO automatically sets the speakers to match the room's acoustics.

Other great features with this budget Yamaha receiver include Compressed Music Enhancer and A/V lip sync function. Compressed Music Enhancer improves the sound from MP3 sources such as computer audio or iPods giving them enhanced detail at the top end and lower bass. A/V lip sync function ensures you get a perfect match between the image of dialogue on your TV and the actual sound from your speakers.

As an introduction into proper AV, it doesn't get much better than the Yamaha RX-V367.

Next up is the RXV467 at just £269.95

    - which has all the features of the RXV367 but this time really focuses on Audio Quality with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio;Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD High Resolution Audio - Burr-Brown 192 kHz/24-bit DACs for all channels & Direct Mode for high quality sound reproduction however the PQ is not ignored - High Picture Quality as well - 1080p-compatible HDMI (4 in/1 out) - Supports Deep Colour (30/36 bit), x.v.Colour, 24Hz Refresh Rate and Auto Lip-Sync compensation

The RXV567 at £359.95 is frequently ignored but really should be top of shopping lists as it's a great package for the spends. Again it features HDMI v1.4 connectivity supporting 3D content, Deep Colour and 1080/24p 'native film' format, AND it up-converts from ALL inputs to HDMI with 1080p upscaling. It also supports HDMI v1.4 audio return feature so you can carry digital audio from your TV via the same cable used to output video.

Setup is a doddle thanks to the auto-mic calibration You can also add the optional YDS-12 iPod dock, or YBA-10 Bluetooth Receiver

The RXV667 at £409.95 is the last of the single output HDMI models - from the next model up all the Receivers feature twin HDMI out.

Again3D compatible the RXV667 has everything required to satisfy the AV enthusiast. At the heart of this receiver is 7.1 processing. This not only gives you the option of using additional surround sound speakers for an even more enveloping sound, but also the chance to assign the amplifiers for bi-amping, instead. Essentially this means using two of the built-in amplifiers to run your front speakers rather than just one; giving better control with a tighter, more focused sound the result.

Its also substantially more powerful than the smaller Yamaha AV receivers. The extra power is clear, especially when it comes to movies with explosive action.

In terms of the numbers, the RXV667 has five HDMI sockets at the back combined with a sixth socket at the front - perfect for occasionally connected items such as an HD camcorder.

As this is a Yamaha you'd expect plenty of DSP (Digital Signal Processor) modes, and the RXV667 doesn't disappoint; a choice of 17 DSP settings, including Cinema DSP 3D mode, provide a wide choice of audio effects. Furthermore, Silent Cinema provides enhanced headphone listening whilst night time listening can also be enhanced without disturbing the neighbours.

Another advantage the extra power of the RXV667 brings is the ability to run a powered second zone. Wire up speakers in another room and you can enjoy music in one room whilst watching a movie in another.

Finally in the '100' series the RXV767 at £599.95 really does boat an impressive spec - especially the Twin HDMi output

If the Yamaha RXV667 is a tasty cake then the RXV767 is the icing!

    picture.php?albumid=1039&pictureid=7715
Adding to the RXV667's already impressive spec, the RXV767 has those "missing" features that many home cinema fans can't live without. The first of these is the adoption of twin HDMI outputs. These work simultaneously and are ideal for those with either a screen in another room or both projector and panel TV in the same room.

When it comes to power, the RXV767 also shows an improvement. Although only a small amount more, the extra power is clear, especially when it comes to movies with explosive action - the RXV767 can go deeper and stay there for longer.

If you have an iPod or MP3 player, you'll appreciate the front panel-mounted mini jack, too. When this is combined with the compressed music enhancer you have a home system that will make the most of your iPod or MP3's music content. The Yamaha RXV767 is also equipped with a special socket that allows for the connection of optional YDS-12 or YDS-11 iPod docks. Once connected, you can control and display your iPod information via the Yamaha's remote control. Finally, there's also full compatibility with the optional Yamaha Bluetooth Wireless Audio Receiver (YBA-10) for seamless device integration.

As with the RXV667, the 767 has the ability to run a powered second zone. Wire up speakers in another room and you can enjoy music in one room whilst watching a movie in another. Setting up and using the Yamaha RXV767 is easy thanks to YPAO and SCENE. YPAO is an Automatic System Calibration that uses sophisticated equalisation to set the best sound for your room where ever your speakers are placed. SCENE allows one-button access to the perfect settings for various sources with different requirements, such as Blu-ray viewing or music listening.

We also have the RXV1067, RXV2067 & RXV3067 available from stock now - I'll pop a detailed post up on these over the next few days but here is the current pricing:
