    Hi all
    Just a quick question..

Do you need to give the esb a €300 euro deposit before you can pay your bill through the post office ??

    Hi kirstyor123,

If you still want to pay via the post office, and the security deposit is proving difficult to meet, you still have the option to sign up to direct debit, and pre-pay your bills with an easypay card.

An easypay card allows you to budget for your bill in advance, so if it is used in conjunction with direct debit, the latter will collect the balance (if any) when the bills issues. For example, if your average bimonthly bill tends to be in the regions of €120, paying €15 p/w in the post office would effectively settle your bill. And if it comes to any more (or less) than that, the direct debit will clear it for you automatically (in the case of a credit, nothing is collected).

For a rundown on the rest of our payment options, click here. And if you think you might be interested in an easypay card, just PM me your account details and I'll arrange for one to be sent out to you.

    Thanks,

    David.
