Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you go to the command prompt and try pinging a website does that work?

See if you can ping boards.ie
    click start
    click run
    type "cmd"
    THen type "ping www.boards.ie"
If you get a response your connected.
Also maybe you tcp/ip settings are messed up

    So go to network connection
    right click on your lan
    properties
    tcp/ip settings properties.

    IP address
dns settings should be obtain automatically

first check device manager to make sure the network card driver has no problems

type ipconfig to make sure you have an ip address

next ping 127.0.0.1 - if that don't work sort out your network drivers

next ping your default gateway ping 192.168.1.1 if that don't work reboot your wireless acess point or internet router thingy

now ping 8.8.8.8 - it's a google DNS server, if that works then you probably have a dns problem
