Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 , 3 - this information is only useful when buying second hand laptops because every manufacturer has made turkeys and a lot of companies have traded on their reputations in the rush to the bottom

IBM's are better built than Lenovos

Compaq had two ranges of laptops, while the business machines were better than most the home use ones were well dodgy

Lots of laptops of different brands were affected by problems with bumps on Nvidia graphics cards - the question wasn't who made the best laptop but which companies fixed the problem after the warranty expired with the least hassle.
