Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cunningly avoiding the paper I'm supposed to be writing on this :D

I thought this article on Copyright in Ireland might be useful for some around here. It's nice and concise and plain-englishey, with some interesting comments on commissioned works and making it very clear where copyright will be held. Another bit I found interesting was the 4th moral right - "The right for a person, who commissions a photograph or film for private or domestic use, not to have the work made public". So anyone taking wedding or portrait shots doesn't have an implicit right to display them in their portfolio, even though they own copyright. I know it's always best practise to ask and get written permission, but I didn't know it could be a legal matter.

So there you go. Hope that helps someone down the line. Bugger, that only allowed me to not work for ten minutes..
