I'm looking for a good Rail and Post supplier Anyone have any recommendations via pm? Spoke with standish sawmills and he didnt seem to want to go any more that 4" , i'd prefer 6" if i could Also what timber will give the longest life?

You don't say where you are from, but I got 8' long 6" posts from a local supplier near Claremorris, Co. Mayo for around €15 I think. Free delivery if you are in the area.

4x2 6ft posts in flanagan's in duleek for 6.50
Think the rails came in at 7.00

Thats the best I found and I called LOTS of places!
