Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Good result, meh performance though.

Best players were Kyriakos, Lucas & Maxi.

Roy still needs to leave asap.

Out of the bottom 3, and back to back wins will do the team moral the world of good.

For those of ye that want Hodgers gone ye might have to wait a while longer though...

Delighted with that. Though we handled Davies well enough, very hard to mark him when he is either backing in and elbowing you in the face, or alternatively backing in then taking a dive at the smallest touch. Socky and Soto did well against him. Lucas did well in midfield, pounced on anything loose. Still looking lacking a fair bit going forward but movement was better it was the final touch and ball that were lacking.

    Oh stop being so negative.
We just won away against a very capable and hard to beat team. First back to back wins in God knows how long.
Save it for Roy's next press conference!

Soto is a great squad player to have against teams like Bolton.
Very dominant in the air all day again today!

Bit harsh. Like Torres, he just needs to find form, and that comes with games. Great cross last week for Torres winner v Blackburn. Dangerous player and we're better with him fit and ready to play.

Scrapped a win against a side that haven't won at home in six. Three points are three points but Roy Hodgson remains a threat to Liverpool's Premier League status. He has to go as soon as possible.

Credit the team for keep pushing for the winner.

Nice easy one next week

Agree with the general opinion that Lucas, Soto and Maxi (in the 2nd half at least) were the stand out performers.
N'Gog improved us when he came on, some good play when he dropped deep.

League table makes for much better viewing now, only 3 points off Spurs in 5th.

No, he needs to leave asap.

Even if we beat Chelsea, he still needs to leave.

Scrapped a win against a side that haven't won at home in six.

Yet Bolton only lost once before today and that was against Arsenal.
    Drew with Man United too.

They are a very capable side, every team in the league would happily take scrapping a win away from home against them.

I agree with you about Hodgson but the most important issue today is that we have pulled ourselves out of the relegation zone.

Lets enjoy that for now eh!

Really? We beat Chelsea and you'll still be calling for his head?

We used to be famous for giving managers a fair chance, standing apart from the Newcastle and Spurs rabble.

I wouldn't complain if he was fired, not at all, but I'm very reluctant to ditch one of the more dignified traditions of the Liverpool Way over a poor first 10 games and the odd bizzare quote.

    edit: Nevermind, mis read that

    No they wouldn't.

You came back from 2 1 down in last seasons game after Bolton had a man sent off. I don't recall anyone calling for the managers head after that one.;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,743 ✭✭✭Revolution9

    No they wouldn't.

Well, last years second placed team, one point away from claiming a historic 4th title in a row would've certainly taken it in hindsight.

They are a very very tough team to beat at home.

There's the whole fact he was never good enough in the first place and saying odd bizzare quotes is about as laughable as saying we've had the odd bad performance under him.

They beat Stoke at home 2 games ago.
