Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Which one am I gonna watch... I LOVE the Halloween movies, but The Exorcist got 10/10 on one of the websites, and is meant to be a complete classic.. At this stage they are about the only two popular horror movies I've never seen...

So hit me with it people, Michael Myers chopping up people, or the head spinning woman... ?

My mammy told me years ago not to watch exorcist as everyone involved with it died. She's ruined it for me even though its not true cause I can't watch it now.

    Any Simpsons specials on tonight?

Disappointed in this movie... spose it's all the building up... serious chance of me switching over to Michael Myers at 23:15

Oh yes, that would be standard tv3: 5 mins tv, 5 mins ad X 3 = 30 mins

It's amazing to think he recovered sufficiently to play Austin Powers many years later...

If you want a real fright then switch over to RTE One, "The week in politics" is starting now.

Brian Lenihan - "15 billion euro of cuts over 4 years"

Too scary so I'm switching back to The Exorcist

see. the doctors asked if the mother was religious and she said no, but the daughter still got possessed. imagine if gurramock ended up that way after his thread in AH about being asked that in the Mater!!

Bah! Whoever times the ads on TV3 needs a punch, right in the middle of an intense scene they cut to ads....really wrecking the momentum of the film imo....

First time seeing Exorcist also, decent, but not as terrifying as I've read in reviews etc. Some bits kinda funny imo.

just tuned into Halloween 6, has any of them ever come close to the first one? Watched "the omen" last night, the newer one...what a loada sheeeeet. A good horror is few and far between on telly!

Yeah the cutting for ads is awful... also, knowing that the movie is a "classic" always makes you expect more from it than it could ever deliver.. I'm on Halloween 6 for the moment.. Poltergeist on later as well..

Fcuk sake... if a priest had you alone in your bedroom, tied to the bed... and the worst he did was throw holy water over you.. I think you would consider yourself lucky..

Exactly. I really do not know how this film has its reputation. It is a load of rubbish really.
