    Just gos to show mother nature is a strange old thing.

    6 years the the day of the last eruption.

    Grímsvötn has not yet erupted. Despite the news in some english sources. There would be much more earthquakes before that, and they are still completely missing.

    From Jón Frímann at the Iceland Volcano blog:
    Currently there is no eruption going on. So there is no wonder why you cannot see anything from space.

    So although it seems a sure thing it may take a while. Hopefully Mila will put in a cam or two by that time.
