Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Very impressed with him I have to say. Very composed at the back.
His pace is great, always looks comfortable dealing with balls down the channels. He could well be Rio's longterm replacement.

To be fair they're pressing the ball hard all over the pitch

Second half when tiredness kicks in - Utd should be able to knock a few in

    Man United Youth

Can't help thinking Bursaspor's high defensive line might play right into the hands of a certain diminutive vegetable on our bench.

Very elegantly put and very, very true...

    Reserves update:
At least the reserves are winning. They were 1 down but Keane & Stewart have put them a goal up.

Most definitely. If he keeps imroving as he has, he'll be there sooner rather than later :D

You know who'd love that high line Bursa are playing with? Hernandez. Smalling is having a great game. Really enjoying watching Evra too, bar that near catastophy of a miss placed pass at the back. Even though there isn't a goal, I'm quite happy how we played in that half.

Hopefully we will take our chances after the break. Been a poor enough game so far.

Getting back into the loop I see!
    3 - 1 now. Tom Thorpe

Smalling just seems to be getting better and better every time I see him. Very pleased with him and he is looking like a very good signing.

Chico and Scholes passing could be just what is needed now. There would be acres of room for him to run into.

    FML.

Just heard Ton saying Nani came off injured. Was it bad and what price was that?

Have to admit that so far Smalling has been the best player on the field in the first-half.

Think if things stay the same I'd take off Obertan after 65 and put Chico on.

I don't know, I can't log on to paddypower so I had to do it all on the mobile.

Doesn't give the odds on the mobile version for accums!

Lets hope fergie will go with 2 up front sooner rather than later. The 3 points are there for the taking. Cant see the quality in the opposition to stay so cautious with just 1 up front.

    Nani has a groin injury.

Yep. 10-15 mins into second half should get Chico in, he'd love this.

If Nani is out for long we are fooked for however long he is out for.

    Obertan has looked dangerous though.

Well taken goal. Fantastic ball from Carrick, delighted to see that.

Lovely Fletch! Was in acres of space, good passing.

Smalling is gonna be the future of United, great player. I was so excited to see Obertan start but thought he gave the ball away too easily.
Goal for Fletch, might living things up now.

nice finish by fletch, now its time to put them away if bursapor attack a bit more.I was dreading this turning into rangers mk2

    D'oh.

    No he hasn't.

IMO he has, I thought he looked one of our most dangerous players in the first half, some very good runs and has looked incisive in the final third.

Very confident on the ball. Really trying to create but forcing his passing abit unfortunately.

Nani has a groin injury could be ok for next PL game. I imagine he'll be rested against Wolves regardless.

haha, and at that exact point he makes a good run and decides not to force a pass to anyone.

    He's listening to us.

Nearly caught out there after Fletcher's mis-pass

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,688 ✭✭✭Nailz

Smalling's passing quality, as a defender, is top notch, proper Rio standard.

]Exactly what I was thinking :D

Should shove one up Berbas arse to see if you can ignite him. As the commentators have said, hes gone back to the Berba off last year, blaming everyone else, body language all off, even Scholes was a bit disgusted with him there.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,329 ✭✭✭Manc-Red

    Bebe!

Berbas body language is bad. Throwing his hands about, rubbing his head. He's getting frustrated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,789 ✭✭✭nicklauski

COme on Bebe. Great Experience for him.
