Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Super result tonight - Brilliant

Great result tonight. Scholes my man of the match, without a shadow of a doubt. The man is unreal when he is on his game. Impressed by Obertan, Bebe, Rafael (yet again). Clean sheet away from home and all but wrapped up the group.
    Delighted.

So many group stages we fail to dominate and put to bed. Tonight it's nice to have picked up three points but also to have put a few in the net. Delighted with Obertan, Bebe, Smalling and Carrick. Roll on the weekend.

Rafael played fantastic. Seeing Bale rip apart Maicon tonight really shows how far along he is coming.

Defence was rock solid. Attack was bleh. Nani going off made us lacking creativity, the game changed when Bebe came on, much more attacking force.
Scholes did great. Obertan did wellish, averageish but outstanding finish.
Bebe did very well when he came on, great goal and great run.

All in all, solid if uninspiring performance. Lets hope no injury for Nani.

    Delighted.

Scholes my MOTM too - fantastic performance from him.

Obertan got my second vote, Carrick my third. Was impressed with Park and especially Smalling again.

Smalling and Carrick close for 3rd for me, went with Carrick cause of the improvement his game has shown as much as anything else. His assist was quality.

    Went

    1. Scholes - Obvious really, pulls the strings, mans a legend!
    2. Obertan - Always looked dangerous, and scored a beauty.
    3. Smalling - A rock at the back, a tough choice between him and vidic for 3rd, but I think he pips it because he's inexperienced in europe and had a great game.

Also Carrick did well, two games in a row now. Let's hope he can find his real form.

Good game for United B to get confidence, although I certainly wouldn't be getting carried away because Bursaspor were terrible.

Scholes MOTM - amazing that he's 36 and he owned the game.

Carrick just pipped by Vidic for me - Smalling gets into third just ahead of Scholesy.

Happy Days - delighted with that display.

    Went Scholes, Obertan and Rafael.

Was too hard to pick a third, so I went with Rafa, because game on game, he's getting better. Carrick, Smalling and even Bebe with his directness when he came on all played very well too.

So it is now SEVEN games without a goal with Berbatov. He shocking tonight. No interest . Lazy and slow.

It now looks like he is back to his old self.

However is he immune from criticism because of his good start to the season? It seems he is to many on here.

To me it reeks unprofessionalism to have gone back to his old self.

Delighted with that. Kind of ground out the first half. They seemed like they wanted nothing to do with the game and us going in front really killed them. Delighted to see Obertan, Bebe and Fletch on the scoresheet, goals from midfield always welcome.
