Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wow, only 7 of WBA's starting XI make it to the 35 minute mark!

All I know is I sat down at 8 to enjoy what I thought would be a decent game played by a couple of teams who like to play a bit of ball and it would be an exciting spectacle. Instead, the ref has single handedly destroyed teh game as a form of entertainment or competition.

I was correct. The commentators just said if a team goes down to 7, it's abandoned.

Surely if they were to go down to 7 they dont just abandon and then replay the game?

I'd say the 3 points go to the team who finished with more than 7 on the pitch...

What if it's 1-1, both teams have 8 men and then 1 from each team gets sent off in a fight in the match :P

Is that for definite? The commentators were suggesting that they could try for 2 more off but why would they do that and forfeit the match?

West Brom are giving as good as they're getting at the moment. Blackpool have been pretty abject since I've tuned in, considering they could effectively go man-to-man and still have two men back.

GA is the only thing I can think of, I see no positives for doing it on purpose really.

I'm going to say I think that's to good decisions by the Ref.

    2nd Red is no brainer
1st one is a bigger call but just because Pablo isn't impeding from behind doesn't mean he's not stopping a clear oppurtunity.

It's time to wake up then!

Eh, they wouldn't do that! They give away the 3 points and a goal difference if they do. If they park the bus, they can keep it at 1-0 which could be the difference should they find themselves in relegation zone. They now have 2 players suspended for the next match, the last thing they want is 4 players suspended. And if they did it on purpose, they'll more than likely get a hefty fine.

Anyone else noticing a trend in blackpools attacking style?

Down the left wing, exploit the lack of Jara.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

They've just confirmed on Sky Sports Centre commentry that if a team gets 4 reds the game is stopped and its up to the F.A. to decide what to do. Presumably it would result in a walk-over (ie 3-0) for the other team.

Save Carson! Weak shot, B'pool should've scored.

Carson not having a bad game, if he had saved that penalty could have been a great game.

And he's gonna get a goal now too.

    I fúckin love Holloway.

Even when he gets the decisions for him, he still calls it out for being the wrong decision.

Love him as a manager, oozes class.
