    I'm not entirely sure this needs a thread, but I've heard rumors that the new directors extended cut on the blu-ray has had some of that unnessessary CGI removed. Shots such as this...

    were gratuitous and completely out of context and marred what I honestly thought was a far better cut of the film overall. I'm not completely against CGI in the film, those wires holding up Regan should definately be nixed for high-def and there are one or two of the new subliminal shots which admittedly work very well.
