Can you get banned for swearing??

    Just checking since more and more people seem to know how to bypass the swear filter.
    Can i get infracted/banned for swearing?? Not directed at any user but just in
    general.

    Good question :) It's actually something under discussion at the moment as there is no clear policy. If/when we come to a consensus I'll let you know :)

    We've discussed this and there is no policy nor do we feel the need for a hard and fast policy. For the most part mods will decide on whether a filter bypass is banworthy or not and that will depend mostly on the context. Bear in mind too that some mods may be more lenient than others in this regard.

    If in doubt, err on the side of caution :)
