Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Spurs need a result here 1 point or 3 to make sure we stay ahead of Bremen and twente Hudd and VDV are both look likely to start after recovering from injury however Defoe Dawson and king are all out with Gallas and Kaboul likely to start. We will be hopping to start off faster then last time out and Huddlestone and Modric are likely to be key go this. Should Line out as
    Cudicini
    Hutton---Gallas---Kaboul----BAE
    Lennon----Hudd---Modric---Bale
    VDV
    Crouch

Hopefully a win will be on the cards but I would take a point.

I'd take a point as well. Forgot Gomes is out, hope Cudicini can step up. Would like to see Pav playing up front instead of Crouch, think the big fella makes us more one-dimensional.

Should be a good match. Hard to call as Spurs have a pretty poor defense but possess a good technical midfield though short on top strikers. Inter are just a top side who normally keeps things tight though they are missing Cesar and Cambiasso.

If its anything like the last game, this will be a great match to watch. From neutrals point anyway!

point will do us , but i think we'll take all 3 tonight

Inter are a shadow of the team they were last season. They were lucky to get a 1-0 win over Genoa on Friday.

    2-0 Inter.

With a meaningless controversial goal involved please!

I'm going to go 2-1 Spurs here. Bale to score twice!

the 2 managers I detest most, 0-0 24 man brawl (inc managers) - match abaondoned and both teams thrown out of the competion for 5 years

    G'wan Inter.

In fairness they got a lot of those type of wins last season too.

Just hope it's as entertaining as last week.

Id like to take that bet on.

I think 1 - 1 anyway, with no brawls or 5 year bans handed out.

Spurs to win with an anytime goal from bale.

    6-1 :D

I'd take a 4-3 spurs right now with us scoring 4 times in the first half and a second half(very late) Eto hat trick :D

I think Inter will take this.

The last match it could have been easily 10-0 Inter by halftime.

They tore them to shreads. Unless Spurs improve drastically it's 3 points to Inter imo.

Inter are a massive 2/1 too

They generally looked a lot more convincing last season than they do this. You can see from the Serie A table that they're not at the same level as last season.

Funny that, the media and Inter fans in Italy seem to think they look considerably more impressive so far this season than they did last. Similar resultswise, but playing far better football.

That'd do me, I reckon ye'll qualify anyway.

I'm supposed to hate Spurs, but I don't. As long as ye don't get further than us in the competition, I'll be happy out!

It's the Eto'o effect, he only needs one more goal to match his total tally in all competitions from last season!

Outrageous price! Who's that with I'm having a chunk of that. Took 17/10 earlier.

At this time last season they were more or less the same. They scraped out of their CL Group putting in some horrible performances. They are currently second in Serie A so hardly in disarray.

Were they ever that good even though they won the CL last year?

Don't get me wrong, they're far from in disarray.

looking forward to this one - if it stays 11 V 11 it should be a good game.
Spurs at home should improve alot - but I still think Inter will win 2-1!
Rafa will I'm sure get a great reception!

I think I read such an article in the Irish Times on Saturday. The gist of it being that Inter are playing more open, expansive football this season and not having to rely on Sneijder as much. Also Eto'o is on fire and can't not score.

Spurs are always great to watch in the Champion's League. Beats watching a dull Man United match anyday.

    2-0 to Spurs.

Two boys having some fun on twitter in the lead up to the match :pac:

    Sneijder tweet

"I’m cleaning the Champions League trophy with a Tottenham shirt"

    Van der Vaart Tweet back:

"Thanks for cleaning it up for me. I’m already creating space in my cup cabinet."

Wes: We’re gonna give you a football lesson in London.
Rafa: I met your defence in Milan, it didn’t look good. It was like cheese with holes in it.
Wes: I found a good goalkeeper on eBay. Shall I send you the link?
Rafa: We don’t need him, you won’t come into our penalty area!
Wes: In [England] football is a game where you have to run as hard as you can from the one end of the pitch to the other, isn’t it?
Wes: Nice goal, but even my six year old cousin would have scored this one.
Rafa: These goals also count but at White Hart Lane against you guys I will score from every angle"

    Opr
