To be fair he was only good value because of a few quirks of circumstance. He was 18 million the day before......

Well Madrid sold Sneijder to Inter for a similar amount and they're a huge club.

Wouldn't expect a club like Madrid who don't particularly need the money to hold United to ransom considering the much reported mounting debts,

Utd nearly always beat Spurs. Hardly a surprise they lost at the weekend.

Fair play to Spurs, hope they hold on for the win. Like the way they play football. Bale, Modric, VDV - great to watch.
