The 4th annual East Wind event will be held March 12th-20th at D-Day adventure park in Wyandotte Oklahoma. For those of you who do not know what East Wind is here is a quick overview:

East Wind runs 24 hours a day for 9 days and is an immersive Milsim event set in the closing stages of the Cold War. East Wind is very much a Milsim event. If you like Milsim, you will love East Wind. If you do not like Milsim, you will hate East Wind. You may attend East Wind one of two ways either full experience or as a day player. Full experience attendees are on the field 24 hours a day being fully supported by event logistics. Day players muster in at 09:00 and muster out at 18:00 each day.

Full experience attendees have a fairly expansive gear requirement list since this is a late winter event that runs day or night, regardless of weather. Day Players have much lighter gear requirements since they do not have to live on the battlefield. In both cases our gear lists are specific but generally easy to track down since there is an immense amount of inexpensive Cold War era surplus gear on the market. On the event side of things, we provide a dizzying array of period correct military equipment. Night vision, Radios, telephone systems, thermal imagers, trucks, armored personnel carriers, tents, heaters, desks, tables, chairs, floors, the list goes on and on and on. For all intents and purposes, this event is the best Museum of the Cold War infantryman you could ever imagine and it is very hands on. Hardcore is right. Oklahoma in winter would be exposed and snow would be a possibility.

I could imagine the conversation with the wife, "dear, you remember you said you always wanted to visit the states............"

the east wind series is a great mixe of airsoft milsim and reenactment with a strong focus on accuracy over faced paced game play

Sweet Allah - Buddha – Jesus

Just looking at the photos! That sure is some XXX hardcore stuff.

You’re going to need a little more than a bottle of Blaster .2 and a high cap mag for that!

I don't recall anything happening during the cold war apart from a people trying to cross from east to west and a massive arms race.

At 9 days, they sure don't lack ambition. I've added it to the calendar just in case anyone's interested insane enough to go.

By the way, this looks just like Sam.

The rest of the photos are amazing.
