Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

any help appreciated for the following problem:

A while back my laptop stopped being able to read a particular usb stick. When plugged in , the drive shows up but when you click on it , it says
"please insert a disk ito drive E"

now it is also happening with my usb card reader.

Any ideas -I have tried other usb ports as well as other computers. I have also tried to change the file from E to whatever but it doesnt "see" the drive to change it. I also cant format it .

The laptop is 3 1/2 years old and hard drive memory is REALLY low , would that make a difference ? I was planning on getting a new laptop but was trying to wait till xmas

Im terrified now to plug in the external hard drives in case they cant be read and I lose everything
