    Yo, heading to South America for 6mths and want to get the best travel insurance that's not going to cost an arm and leg

    They all seem to offer much the same on the basics but was planning on being pretty active so I will be needing cover for mountaineering, snowbording, mountian biking, climbing, scuba diving etc

    Got a quote off World Nomads of 544.60 euros for all activities which seems ridiculously expensive to me

    Any suggestions???

    Have you checked out our stickie with lots of threads on travel insurance here?

    Bottom line seems to be, no one here knows for sure. But we generally don't like Blue Insurance/anything offered by USIT.
