Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky Card not working

Got a used Sky Box with card I think its a sub card. The card wasn't in receiver when I got it but the receiver was working on the free to air channels including Channel 4, E4, etc. But then when I put the card in the box a notice came up saying this is the wrong card for this set top box etc.
When I put the card into the box on the system details menu the same number comes up as on the card.

Could anyone tell me what could be wrong?

    Hope I explained ok!

    Thanks.

Cards are matched with receivers, those errors you describe appear if the card has been out of it's original receiver for more than 6 weeks or so.

That card is useless to you, you don't need the card to get the Free to air channels .

The box doesn't need any card to receive the free to air channels.

I'm 99% sure you only get Viva and LFC on an expired Irish card.
