Nokia 6700 slide- easy to use?

    I'm thinking of getting my mother a 6700 slide phone for Christmas. Basically, the phone she has now is ancient! I know there are cheaper and more basic models of phone out there but it will have to be:
    A nokia
    Silver
    Slide
    Meteor
    and I can't think of any other phone like that.
    But is it a complicated smartphone or an easy to use nokia?
    If anyone has this phone or has any input I would greatly appreciate it. :)

    Its basic enough, it runs on V3 of S60 which is pretty straightforward and easy to grasp. Its a little step up from previous nokias.

    If you want a slider, and its a nokia you dont have to many options
