    Is it true that you can't get backstage to meet bands playing at Oxegen?

    I remember seeing something on their FAQ about it.

    I know a man working on the sunday so I was kinda hoping I might be able to meet Coldplay on that day.

    You'd need a pass with the right access. Plus when certain bands, I'd imagine Coldplay are one of them, they lock down the stage areas even tighter. Plus bands of this calibre tend to arrive shortly before the gig stay in the dressing room, get bussed down to the stage and then hit the road immediately when they are done.

    Sure there's always people who manage to wangle their way through but there is no public access to any of the stage or production areas.

    I was working at Oxegen last year and had a wristband which allowed AAA but we were told that a lot acts want a no fly zone when there on stage eg , no one allowed on the side bar the bands crew etc. As said most of the big bands just arrive , play leave but you might meet a few smaller bands around

    That'd be amazing, dunno if it's likely though!

    She's headlining Glastonbury, so I doubt she'd settle for anything less than a headline spot at Oxegen? :confused:
