For "The Paws" who was looking for a good Satelite link of the North Atlantic there is a decent one on the Met Eireann website, this link.

Im normally a "snow " poster.. Personally I hate wind & rain. Living beside the sea i see the danger of the tides & I just hope to christ there are no fatalities from this storm or whatever we are calling it.

If you watch the sea on a bad day all I see is danger - The swell in the harbour & boats just smashing off each other. I have a terrible fear of the danger of the sea & ill be tucked up with my lambs now until its all over.

Just be safe out there for the next 24 hours
    Jen xx

    Could coincide with high tide.

Yes very possible. However with a spring tide at high tide in lahinch the waves will only break right at the wall. So should be lots of spray and white water etc as oppossed to them breaking further out.

Bright, sunny and dead calm this morning.

    Red sky at sun rise.

Has started to get progressively duller in the last few hours and a slight breeze has made its appearance.
