Beach now deserted. Waves churning up nicely. Fire on and serving hot whiskeys. Nothing to wild or unusual yet.

You'd never think there is a storm on the way here in Dublin, it's as calm as a millpond here at the moment only temperatures have plumetted this afternoon...

We won't get hit by the rain for about 6 hours lads. It's only on the West Coast right now.

Breeze getting a little stronger, its direction is all over the place at the moment although the drops of rain are pretty much from the west.

    Gust of 77kph at Belmullet.

Pressure just dropped to 999 here, just starting to rain now. So cold!

Barometric pressure reading 1003hPa in West Limerick.

Not a calibrated measurement but will serve to indicate drop as a relative reading.

90 kph gust at M4 buoy.

Slightly stronger than what the 12Z GFS has for that location at that time. Either the storm is moving a little quicker than forecast or is a little stronger.

Either way, still pretty much on track, no major surprises and nothing to get excited about so far.

Wife just rang from Mullingar, she said it was starting to Drizzle and wind had picked up quite a bit and sky had darkend somewhat.

In Tallaght its very cold, sky is dark not much of a brezze,

Just looking at the 12Z GFS rolling out. Keeps the centre of the low down just south of England with gusts up to 75kph coming over the Irish Sea to the east coast on Tuesday.
