You should have peak gusts between 6 and 8, it will calm down again then after that.

Sligo is (for the moment) just nasty with strong, gusty wind and heavy rain.
Hope it doesn't get much worse ...don't like storms.

Dublin city centre - gotten quite chilly and it's not calm anymore but winds are very slight. No sign of any storm yet, would be forgiven for calling it a nice cold evening!!

Hopefully any fishing boats have taken heed of the warnings and there's nothing for the waves to capsize out there tonight - storms can be very impressive but really hope noone is put in danger because of the weather tonight.

Wind howling round the house here on the west Cork coast, fairly heavy rain, no high tide flooding.
Just a nice autumnal evening. ;)

Hoping the morning swell on the cliffs will make up for todays "breezy weather".

Just back home today from doing some skydiving. Perfect weather for it ! :D

Not a cloud from 13,000ft to the ground and hardly any wind.

Usual media hype for a complete non event.

There's a good few Irish stations monitoring and contributing to AIS feeds, especially around the south and east coast. Not so many around the west cast though :(

    thanks tactical.

the pink colours showing up on ME radar now. There will be a few spots of red in the next hr as the heaviest of the rain makes inroads inland.
