Anyone know if Sky offers better just before Christmas?

Anyone know what the offer will be from tomorrow on?

I'm tempted to sign up at the moment but have heard the offers improve before Christmas.

I want to get Sky+ and multiroom and doing it online I only get the choice of one extra box, I only want to do the order online as I'm going through a cashback site and also want any extra credit going for ordering online.

I would actually like to get sky in 3 or 4 rooms, the multiroom subcription is a max of €15pm isn't it?
After ordering online can I ring and change to for extra multirooms? I also have an unused Lidl box in the attic, would they connect this as an extra multiroom for me?

Get it installed in 2 rooms (remember you need active phoneline for multiroom)
Install is €30-boxes are free this includes your Sky+ box.Use the Lidl box as fta in the 3rd room.If you want an extra Sky box it is €69. The €15 multiroom covers the whole house for 1 year,can be extended after the year if you talk nice to them on the phone when your contract is up. That's the best deal your gona get,you can't get cheaper than free boxes:)

If it's an installer sent from Sky directly he might not do it.Best go through an independent,they generally will install spare boxes you might have for a small fee seeing as it's not part of the standard install.No harm in asking the installer when he contacts you to book your install date.

It varies, they charge the same for sky installs, but usually call out charges extra work will be a different price. Normally as well Independants can have a shorter install time than Sky themselves.

I don't see why a business would decrease prices during a time of high demand.

Don't see anything unusual on the Sky web site this morning - other than the usual "hurry, offer ends <insert date here>" message.

Sky have increased the price of Sky+ box-it was free but is now €49 and €30 install,you only get a free box if you take HD.People who sit and wait for offers tend to miss out on the best ones in the hope something better will come along.

Yeah I rang up for info on getting half of the movie channels for christmas and they just said "tell you what we'll give you the lot for 3 months for half price"

So I said great I'll take that.:pac:

Edit: I said I had sky+HD before they gave them to me at half price ,don't know weather it was a factor or not?
