    hi im using jce editor on my joomla site - when i try to add some javascript to an article it stays for a while but then the javascript disappears- any idea

    Have you tried adding the code with the editors switched off?

    Im not sure if this is the problem, but i was having a problem before with a paypal code, Joomla tends to strip out html - and switching them off to add it worked for me.

    Components > jce admin >Groups > default > Editor parameters >allow javascript = yes

    That should do the trick :)
