Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
I finished college in may and have been looking for work ever since. I recently applied for an internship with a company in Waterford from IBEC's grandlink program. I'm on job seekers allowance of 150e a week. But I have large student debt from renting in dublin for 4 years so thats swallowing a pile of the dole.
Anyway, I've been offered this position with the company in Waterford but I cant afford the expense of travelling up and down from Enniscorthy every day or renting in Waterford for that matter. Ive worked out the trip will cost approx 85e per week in petrol, tax and insurance. Not to mention the wear on my already worn car.
Is there any state bodys like FAS or somebody I can talk to about maybe getting some sort of allowance towards the expense of doing this internship.

    Thanks guys!
