Is that Vincent Browne in the audience? This would be the perfect time for him to pull Tubridy up on his huge taxpayer funded wages.

I can only assume you celebrated that post like you had just scored in the world cup final.

Just to defend my own point on Binoche... She came on with an attitude... which made Tubridy's job more difficult.. However Tubridy did nothing to make her comfortable, and get her on side, which is one of his notable attributes..

God John looked sooo forlorn looking back at those images from his career...

He's probably hoping that Tubs will keel over/run off crying after the girls tease him and then Vinny would get to step in as the best candidate to take over.

He must have been crying when Parkinson appeared.

Probably off topic, but why would anyone watch a movie with subtitles?
People that tell you "old Boy" is better than "The Departed" need their head read & city of god is passable story, but it would be better if it was dubbed \ remade in English
I think you mean Infernal Affairs ;) and yes Infernal Affairs is a far superior film to The Departed.

And that english remake of "La Dolce Vita", I think it was called "Cloverfield", failed to capture a great deal of the original subtitled film.

Actually now that you mention it I would love to see VB host an episode of the LLS, can you imagine him interviewing some z-list celebrity?

Despite the fact that reading while watching a film is pointless, so much is lost in the translation from voice to text on screen.

People that tell you "old Boy" is better than "The Departed" need their head read & city of god is passable story, but it would be better if it was dubbed \ remade in English

Old boy and the departed are completely unconnected:D

Bad attitude to have chief. You're missing out on a lot of great films that way. Reading subtitles while watching a film has never bothered me in the slightest.

Anyway, hopefully Juliette has given Ryan a kick up the arse he needs tonight.
