Bill is getting the digs in on Eammo

Just to defend my own point on Binoche... She came on with an attitude... which made Tubridy's job more difficult.. However Tubridy did nothing to make her comfortable, and get her on side, which is one of his notable attributes...
are you actually giving Tubs a compliment there? not like you:D

I love the way Bill basically said that he was working with Eamon for ten years already, but when John came along i 'thought i'd be exposed for my lack of knowledge'!!!:D

Maybe that's because he is old.

I find these tribute shows a little unsettling. It's like an obituary for a living person. The past tense being used a lot just makes it weirder; "He was a great player", "He was always a gentleman".

Sorry going back to edit it now...
Brady is the greatest football player Ireland has ever had

Hard to judge, maybe if things had fallen better for him... for a start if he'd got on with Charlton... He could have been the hero in 1990..

What in the name of god is going on with the lights on the audience. I'm ringing every ambulance in the country to go to the studio with all the bright red faces.

I much prefer paying tribute to someone when they are still around to hear it.

You're right. I'm not sure where I read/heard it that she's 'difficult'. She was condescending to say the least but it didn't help with the questioning from Tubs. But it was akin to asking Colin Farrell of his wilder days, Bill Clinton about Monica Lewinsky or Roy Keane about Mick McCarthy (and vice versa). They're sick of it.
