18th of November... Should be a great gig!
    Artist info:

    Tùcan:
The bands successful debut album 'Aliquot Strings' was released on 29th May 09 and went straight into the Irish Charts. Donal and Pearse have mined the riches of their talent to deliver a collection of nine tracks which cement their emerging reputation as one of the most exciting new Irish acts.
The Duo earned themselves the “Best Musical Group Award’ from AOIFE (Association of Irish Festival Events). They had two hugely successful performances at “Electric Picnic 07” including closing out the festival at The Body and Soul Stage. The huge crowd gave their vociferous seal of approval and in the process secured Túcan three more gigs at the Picnic again in 08, making them the hardest working band at Electric Picnic with three stomping shows.
Túcan are Lining up as a 4 piece for the Aliquot Strings tour, eliciting the talents of the fantastic Sligo Rhythm section, namely, Keith Kelly on Bass and Paul Wehrly on Drums. This has given their already scintillating live show fantastic depth and energy.

    Joey Ryan:
Just about to release his new album, Dusk, Joey Ryan has produced his finest work yet.
Hotpress' Jackie Hayden says 'Ryan is one you will be seeing a lot more of on the Blues scene' (5/6)
Melancholic, dark and yet uplifting music that is played with passion and conviction.
It is a collection of songs full of seedy characters, different times and strange places that are yet familiar to us all.
Drawing influences from the blues artists of old, rock, jazz and country, Dusk is Joey Ryan at his finest- raw and real.
Having spent the last year playing with some of the finest artists such as Kelly Joe Phelps, Jack L, Jeff Lang, Clive Barnes, Tucan, Thomas Leeb and Mark Geary, the next year will see Joey on the road promoting Dusk.

Tickets available on Ticketmaster, tickets.ie and from the Old Oak, Cork...
