Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Off the Ball radio show on Setanta TV, why?

Can anybody please tell me the logic of Newstalks Off The Ball sports radio show then being shown on Setanta TV the same night?

Watching three lads in their 30's in dodgy t-shirts with headphones on waffle about various sports topics is not compulsive TV!

    Seems pointless.

Setanta hasn't much money and this is very cheap TV?

    Nail - head - wallop.

Plus it's a good way of catching up if you're a fan of the show and you've missed it.

Yeah I watch it myself, the odd time, for that very reason.

Apples and Oranges. OTB is not a "football phone in" show

I actually find it quite handy.

I often miss off the ball if im not in the car or working late, and watching that half an hour show gives you all the days IRISH sports news, bit of banter, and usually one good feature thrown in like wednesday rugby or an interesting interview or piece or whatever.

Dont always watch it but it beats 'poker after dark' or 'fight sports knockouts' doesnt it?
