Breaking 18 month Vodafone contract

    Hi folks,

    My wife recently (6 months ago) upgraded and entered a 18 month contract with vodafone. Is there anyway to "get out" of this contract?

    A friend of mine upgraded to the iphone when it came out on vodafone early in the year and he had a 6 month opt out, which he used. Was this unique to this offer or is it standard. Can find anything on Vodafone website...........

    IIRC, After 6 months you change your tariff w/o any penalties, so i guess the cost of getting out would be lowest tariff (15?) x 12 plus vat.
