    Hi,

I'm looking for advice from anybody who has recently bought a leather couch. We are looking to get a two and three seater for a good price.

We stupidly bought a fabric suite and two babies later, they are not looking to hot.

Anybody recommend any deals on stores where to look other than the obvious. We are from meath area but willing to travel about within reason.

    Cheers

Ok cant offer you any advice on deals but heres a few tips when you go looking. Take your time picking sit lie test recliners be fussy. Some leather can be slippy and you will end up constantly pulling yourself up. The more padded ones can be higher up from the ground make sure you are able to plant both feet on the ground when sitting I hate danglling feet. Try and go for a high back gives great support. recliners are great really comfy but as you have small kids if you get recliners make it a rule that they are not allowed to open or close them otherwise fingers/heads could easily get hurt. Look for leather that has some give in it I would imagine it tear if it is tight.
We have cream in one room and chocolate brown in another both easily cleaned. Its great with small kids, however dont allow biros ad markers to be used near them Happy shopping

Thanks for the Reply Astra. Laughing :D here about your comment on the pen/biro, that's one of the reasons why we are looking to upgrade to leather. Our Kids have our lovely beige sofa destroyed. Thanks again for the advice all valid points to take with us on the shop.

Would it be worth looking at getting covers for your current sofas that you could keep for "good" until the kids are a bit older?

This crowd had a good collection of sofas a few years ago, at reasonable prices but seem to have practically zero web presence, and were a little tricky to find.

Bought 2 sofas from Argos (buy one get one free) - funds were a bit low this side of Christmas. Also we have been looking since Sept and anywhere we went couldn't guarentee delivery before Christmas.

We got a 3 and a 2 leather recliner - wasn't expecting a lot to be honest but am pleasantly surprised - its working out great - only took 10 days to get delivered (there was a small bit of assembly required)

When we ordered there was an offer on - including delivery is was under 1000 euro :D
