Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I got the LG, i'm nearly sure it was that model i'll double check later, looking at the screen in the store the LG seemed to just look a lot better, both cosmetically and picture wise, The samsung nearly won me over with the 3 HDMI ports.
The LG picture is excellent for games if that matters.

Thinking of getting this later today..

    Any opinions why I shouldn't?

Also, I'd like to get add on speakers. Was thinking a 2.1 and then 2 wireless speakers for the back set. Is this doable?

Very happy with it so far. Well worth the money in my opinion.
Just need to get the surround sound sorted out now. Will be trying to go down the digital 5.1 with two wireless rear speakers. May take some time.

If you had have waited a bit,you would have got that LG full 1080HD 42inch TV in Tesco for 440 euro.;)

Oh well, they'll probably be even cheaper after Christmas. ;)

    Did you get one?

I wouldn't buy a tv in Tesco no matter how cheap they sell them. If you have a problem after you may aswell not have a tv at all.

I'm considering buying this tomorrow, but isn't "2x10 Watts Stereo" very low for a TV ?

Its fairly standard for a tv tbh, if you want decent sound, get a home cinema system! :)

I was looking at the powercity website & I couldn't get the spec on some of the Samsung Tvs from the samsung UK or Ireland website.
Why is this, I did of the samsung.com site & couldn't get the models either.

Maybe old 2009 models they still have in stock? What were the model numbers?
