Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, so I got an Xbox360 over the weekend and wanted to play(not record) it on my laptop but the screen comes up in black & white and when I change the settings on the Ulead software to pal colour comes in but the screen is all screwy and then screen goes black when i click ok after changing setting to pal.
Now as I said in another topic here I use this EasyCap/Ulead with my Gamecube with no problems on my laptop, I just cant seem to figure out how to fix this problem for my xbox360, does anyone know what do or how to fix this. I have the latest drives for the easycap so thats all up-to-date. I did find this but I dont really follow :(

    Thanks in advance again!

It sounds like a PAL50/PAL60 problem. Check that your Xbox is using PAL60, then change the capture format to NTSC_433 (PAL 60 is the PAL format inside an NTSC signal blah blah blah...). Should work fine. Not too sure where the settings are in the Ulead software (don't use it myself).

But before all that, I'd make sure that you have the official EZCap, version 116/DC60+. Have a look here: EZCap Support. Some of the knock-offs aren't as good.

Just one more point; if you're using this for playing, be aware that you may introduce "screen lag". There may be a delay between the time it takes for the signal to go through the EasyCap, through Windows and onto your screen.

    Good luck!
