    hi RS team
    after the last week sale of monday/tuesday i am waiting for the next RS sale.
    any idea if anything big coming from santa for christmas??

    i am waiting eagerly for good av receiver deals.
    we have not had one for a while now.

    Hi Bitti.

    We don't really have anything planned as such in the run up to Christmas.

    We do have the Denon deals currently runnig and the Onkyo 707 was a steal in the clearance Onkyo listing but unless some of the manfacturers make some radical price drops, we won't have any specific A/V receiver deals coming up.

    Is there something in particular that you are looking for as all of our prices tend to be good deals in the first place. :)

    I watching for some deals on receivers too, preferably big dirty powerful ones, the ones offered upto now have been a bit puny!!!

    Dave,
    after the last tuesday/wednesday sales, i was hoping to see some more sales but on AV receiver side.
    i am looking for a simple AV receiver in the 200euros range which will do the HDMI stuff when connected to my tannoy speakers and LCD.

    Are you looking it to decode HD audio as well or just the HDMI switching ?

    sorry not sure what you mean by HD audio?
    is it audio output of the blu ray player?
