    Can anyone recommend somewhere to get my new nokia N8 unlocked in the north east or how I would go about doing this myself

    Your network is the only way to go. Wont be a problem if your billpay.

    As you got one early, check that it actually has a network lock on it, chances are it doesn't.

    exactamundo, i got my n8 last wednesday from vodafone, and its unlocked/unbranded

    I got mine online from the UK its orange moblie so fingers crossed it wont be locked!
