    Hi All

Have been working with the same entertainment based company for 10 years. Always on shift work nights etc. Just recently my hours have been cut from 40 - 45 hours per week to only 28 hours max worked over 4 days. These hours could also fall below 28 as we tend to close early if place is empty.

Obviously I have all the expenses most people have ie. mortgage / heat / kids etc

Not sure what I can do in this situation? Am I entitled to claim anything?
Also how far can an employer cut you before he has to let you go?
Does he have to make you redundant? Or can he just fire me if he doesn't have the money?

Do I have to stay there no matter how far he cuts my hours? It's beginning to look like I won't be affordable to work soon!

Thanks for any help/advice you can give.
