Anyone out there into sea kayaking? Looking to give it a go, but hard to know where to start.. Kilkee or Ballyvaughan for instance.. (has to be in Clare)

I'm an adult, so not looking for kid's adventure centers or anything, maybe a club if such a thing exists?

    thanks for any help!

    Thanks Clareman!

I had seen that, but only the Kilrush adventure centre seemed to offer kayaking (and it seemed to be a kind of 'Delphi', ie for kids.) But I should ring them to find out..

Was hoping that maybe someone on the boards might be into it themselves and be able to point me in the right direction...

the Galway Kayak club have a good deal, every tuesday night they skill up/ or play canoe polo, in the pool in Kilcornan, in Clareinbridge, then go out as a group on Saturdays, weather dependent over the winter they also allow you bring out the kayak's if you don't have on once you sign it out....

Also try the Burren Outdoor Centre in Carran, have gone out with them as as an adult... they mainly Kayak in or around Bellharbour, 4 miles from Ballyvaughan
