Best noise cancellation

I've tried a few and nothing is beating the Quiet Comfort 3's atm. Personally for me comfort comes and noise cancellation comes first. Sound quality last....... :eek::eek:

The HD 25-1 didn't block out enough sound when on the plane and are not as comfy.

It's of no importance, I won a poker tourney and am splashing out.

If i'm honest I'm not anal enough to go into huge detail about sound. Most music I listen to was recorded on crap and has a quality of sound that I love.

Get custom-made Jerry Harvey audio monitors then, if you're flush with cash. Best sound, best comfort, best noise reduction.

If that is out of your price range then you might want to consider their JH5 model.

Etymotic Research ER-4S gets the best noise cancellation on this list...

Audio-Technica ATH-CK10 for best combo of isolation and comfort.

ER-4S is not a good earphone for portable use, you need a decent amplifier to drive it.

The CK10s are almost impossible to find now, as lovely as they are.

Neither will match a custom earphone for noise reduction or comfort, let alone sound quality.

They have to be headphones btw, I'll give the 25's another go. Is there any shop I can test both?

i've had a pair of creative hn-700 for the last few years and thought the noise cancellation was great (only noise cancellation headphones i've tried).

But recently they broke so looking for a near pair under the €100 mark.

What do you think of this pair?
