Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Starting a business whilst on JB

If you are on JB, and register a business (a sole trader) with the revenue, will you lose your entitlement to JB even if the worst happens and you dont actually get any customers??

If you just get 1 days work, and that is it, has that killed off any entitlement to JB?

    Thanks

No but you need to declare your self employment to Social Welfare. You would still be entitled to Jobseekers benefit as long as you are available for and looking for work, and you don't work anymore than 3 days in your own business. You would be expected to declare the days you work in the business.
