Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

God damned Networking

Having a problem with home networking.

Running windows 7 on a good system, no hardware problems, no viruses, no OS issues.

But the internet keeps dropping and it says IPv6 constantly has no network access. And IPv4 keeps dropping.

Every other piece of hardware (most also running win7) can connect without any problems.

Iv exhausted everything i can think of. Any ideas?

Are you connecting through WIFI or network cable?

    Hi,

Please provide the make and model of the router you're using and also the make and model of the wireless adapter in your computer.

How long is there between drops? Do you notice anything different happening when you connect using one of the other computers to what happens when you connect this one? Did you buy the wireless router retail or was it provided by tour ISP (if so, who is your ISP)?

When you say your 'going wireless' are you saying that the connection dropping problem you described before was happening with a wired connection?

The driver you need for that wireless adapter for windows 7 is available here:

    http://www.micronet.info/up_images/driver/350/RTL8185Win7.rar

Let us know if it works out.
