    We already have reports of trees down around parts of Wexford and South Wicklow,thats without the really strong winds hitting.Heavy rain here overnight so I expect a lot more trees to be on the ground by tomorrow due to the sodden ground.

    Already? Gusts could be around twice as strong this evening around there.

    met eireann report warns of 140km winds for north of country just now on radio. Here in NW Donegal, Carmen is already teasing us!! Occasional strong gusts are coming battering in bringing hail and rain!

    Tis getting rough here. with some intermittent stronger gusts and 20 foot sprays coming off the sea. The sea is very choppy.

    Hello again Gang,

    lots of posts to read since I signed off last night. 12 pages :eek:

    Sunrise seen a dull overcast West Limerick which brightened up to sunshine nicely. It later clouded over and we've just had the first shower with strong wind driving it. It just bordering above what would be a normal windy shower.

    gusts almost as high as sunday already, highest gust @ each of 7 and 8am was in Galway ( Mace Head) at almost 60kt , sunday record 61kt @ malin. Belmullet edged Mace @ 9am. Malin is third , much lower. Connacht is getting the worst for now.
