Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey folks,

I am going to do an acrylic print of the following image I took recently at Dunany in Co. Louth, I am torn between the B+W and the colour.

What would you choose if you had to?

The colour... it's the better of the two by far.

Lots of lost shadow detail in the B+W conversion

Agree with above. The old 'rusty things that look like goalposts' are too black/no detail in the B&W shot.

Colour all the way for same reasons as above.

I really like the colour one, it has that kind of pale/soft palette that you'd find in a Turner painting which you should most definitely show off. :)

    Where are you hangin it?

If its going into a living room or dining area where you want a warm kind of atmosphere Id go with colour.

If its a kitchen area or some kind of minimalist type decor space Id say the B&W.

    Nice work

+1 to the Color one, it has more details in the 'goalposts', it would look very well hanging up I'd imagine.
