Hi all. Quick question. Have a laptop (toshiba satellite) which is running very slow due to only 512mb of ram I would think. Would it be possible to upgrade to 1.5gb ram by just inserting another 1gb stick of DDR2 PC2-5300.?
If so, is it as easy as just opening the back and inserting the stick beside the original one?
    Thanks all;)

Once you are sure that the laptop can support the memory upgrade, and you get the correct memory type, then yes that is all you have to do :).

The Crucial memory selector is always handy (Tip: Actually buy the ram elsewhere, this is just useful in case you are not sure of the exact memory type ).
