ZEN CART Category images

Can I turn off the category images in Zen cart for sub categories only?? i.e. I want the main category images visible on the front page but after that every subcategory to appear as a list...Any ideas?

I don't know if you can do it via the admin panels but you might be able to cheat a little by using css "display: none" for the subcategory images. Break out Firebug to identify the elements you need to target.

.categoryListBoxContents .img_box21 {
display: none;
}

to http://www.speedyparts.ie/shop/includes/templates/theme185/css/stylesheet_tm.css

to hide that blue placeholder box

and if you are trying to display categories as a vertical list add

width:100%!important;

to

.categoryListBoxContents

in http://www.speedyparts.ie/shop/includes/templates/theme185/css/stylesheet_main.css

Hopefully that will override the inline width that's being added.

Did you get Firebug as Daymobrew suggested?

I'll try that now! I have firebug, just been at it hours now, cant see wood from the tree's ;-)

That works fine but heres the kicker, I need it to only apply category 5,6 and 7 i.e. Category levels one to four will have images visible but levels after that have a list. Any idea's?

I can't see any category numbers - can you post direct links to the pages? Most likely each category is defined using a unique id, you should be able to specify which to hide and display fairly easily.

You can see from above I want images as far as the make i.e. Ford but after that just a list. Now if its defined using category numbers will it need to be applicable to all categories?? Thanks a mill for your help!
